Since I've started listening to the podcast DoubleKnit I've realized how little reading and movie watching I do now. Audiobooks take up most of the slack but it's not the same as holding a book and devoting all your attention to it. Also, the wrong narrator can ruin an audiobook while a "real" book's voices are always perfect in your head.
Anyway this is what I've been listening to:
Short Stories by Saki read by Frederick Davidson and Nadia May - I've listened to this a few times because both my favourite narrators take part and the stories are good.
Canapes for the Kitties by Marion Babson read by Nadia May - I didn't really enjoy this mystery novel very much but it passed the time while knitting.
Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Story by Leonie Swann read by Josephine Bailey - This is an engaging and charming story of a flock of sheep in Ireland determined to discover who killed their shepherd.
