We went, we browsed, we bought. Marion and I got to the Frolic when the doors opened and after a few hours we were tired out. I only bought 11 skeins of yarn and no sock yarn at all so I'm proud. However, there was some pre-Frolic shopping of yarn I've been eyeing for months.
We visited the Purple Purl who had a wonderful sale which allowed some guilt-free shopping. Tanis Fiber Arts and Indigo Moon were also there from out of province. They both seemed very busy so hopefully they'll be at the Fair in September.
Now to go on another yarn fast until then. Luckily there is plenty of lace yarn which will take a long time to knit into large and pretty shawls. And just another 8 months until I can buy sock yarn again!
